About this course
Course overview
OKRs that move the team — not just the spreadsheet.
Most OKR rollouts fail not because the framework is broken but because the objectives are vague, the key results are tasks in disguise, and nobody has the hard conversations about trade-offs. This one-day applied workshop fixes all three.
Using your team's real work, participants draft, critique, and refine their next cycle of OKRs in real time. Expect a lot of whiteboarding, a lot of "this isn't a KR — this is a task," and a lot of peer pressure to sharpen language until it actually commits the team to an outcome. You leave with a published OKR set, a check-in cadence, and a shared understanding of how to grade them honestly at the end of the cycle.
Learning outcomes
What you'll learn
Every module is tied to an outcome you can bring back to your team the next day.
- Write objectives that commit the team to a measurable outcome, not an activity
- Distinguish key results from tasks, initiatives, and health metrics
- Run OKR drafting, review, and grading rituals that build buy-in
- Calibrate ambition — stretch vs. committed vs. aspirational
- Walk out with your team's next cycle of OKRs fully drafted and pressure-tested
